How do I restore my purchases?

Open the game, go to Settings (bottom of the Home screen), and tap Restore Purchases. Your Barz Pass and any one-time purchases will be restored instantly as long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

My game progress has reset — what happened?

Progress is saved on your device. Deleting the app removes saved data. If you've reinstalled, your story will start fresh. Purchases (Pass, Bars packs, Remove Ads) are always restorable via your Apple ID — tap Restore Purchases in Settings.

How does Barz Pass work?

Barz Pass is a monthly or annual subscription. While active it grants weekly Bars, removes ads, unlocks exclusive fits in the Wardrobe, and gives early access to new episodes. The story is always free — the Pass is cosmetics and convenience only.

How do I cancel Barz Pass?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Barz. You can cancel anytime. Your Pass stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Who we are

BARZ – Rap Game is developed and published by Wilfred Samson Dedewo. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at barz@5am9t1.com.

Data we collect

We do not create user accounts or collect your name, email, or personal details. Game progress (story choices, stats, owned items) is stored locally on your device only — we do not upload, sync, or back it up to any server or cloud service.

Third-party SDKs

The app uses the following third-party services which may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob — serves optional rewarded ads. With your consent (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on first launch), AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier for personalised ads. You can opt out at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
RevenueCat — processes in-app purchases and subscription status. RevenueCat receives your App Store receipt and a randomised device identifier to verify entitlements. No personal information is shared.

Advertising and tracking

We only show opt-in rewarded ads — you choose to watch one in exchange for in-game rewards. No ads are shown without your action. No ads are shown during gameplay or story content. We never show forced or interstitial ads.

We request App Tracking Transparency permission on first launch. If you decline, ads shown will be non-personalised. This does not affect gameplay in any way.

Children

BARZ carries an 18+ age rating (mature themes, realistic violence, and language). It is intended for adults and is not directed at children or anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Data retention and deletion

Since we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all local save data from your device. Subscription records are held by Apple and RevenueCat per their own retention policies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and erase personal data we hold. As we hold none, there is nothing to action — but if you have concerns, contact us at barz@5am9t1.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app.

Barz Pass subscription

Barz Pass is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or annually. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically for the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings.

What the subscription includes

Barz Pass covers no ads, a weekly allowance of in-game Bars, early access to new episodes, subscriber-only cosmetic items, and a member badge. The story is always free — no episode or narrative content is ever behind a purchase.

In-app purchases

Bars are an in-game currency used for cosmetic items and optional convenience. Purchased Bars do not expire. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policy.

Age rating

BARZ is rated 18+. It contains realistic violence, references to weapons, and mature themes including addiction and bereavement.
