How do I restore my purchases?

Open the game, go to Settings (bottom of the Home screen), and tap Restore Purchases. Your Barz Pass and any one-time purchases will be restored instantly as long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

My game progress has reset — what happened?

Progress is saved on your device. Deleting the app removes saved data. If you've reinstalled, your story will start fresh. Purchases (Pass, Bars packs, Remove Ads) are always restorable via your Apple ID — tap Restore Purchases in Settings.

How does Barz Pass work?

Barz Pass is a monthly or annual subscription. While active it grants weekly Bars, removes ads, unlocks exclusive fits in the Wardrobe, and gives early access to new episodes. The story is always free — the Pass is cosmetics and convenience only.

How do I cancel Barz Pass?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Barz. You can cancel anytime. Your Pass stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Who we are

BARZ – Rap Game is developed and published by Wilfred Samson Dedewo. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at barz@5am9t1.com.

Data we collect

We do not create user accounts or collect your name, email, or personal details. Game progress (story choices, stats, owned items) is stored locally on your device only — we do not upload, sync, or back it up to any server or cloud service. There is no cloud save: if you delete the app, that progress is gone.

What does leave your device is a small amount of anonymous usage and purchase information, sent to the third-party services listed below. It describes how the app is used — never who you are, and never what happens in your story.

Third-party SDKs

The app uses the following third-party services which may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob — serves optional rewarded ads. With your consent (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on first launch), AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier for personalised ads. You can opt out at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
RevenueCat — processes in-app purchases and subscription status. RevenueCat receives your App Store receipt and a randomised device identifier to verify entitlements. No personal information is shared.
Google Firebase Analytics — records anonymous events about how the app is used, so we can see which parts of the game people reach and where they get stuck. We log a small, fixed set of events: when an ad offer is shown, started, completed or dismissed; when a purchase screen is opened, a purchase completes, or purchases are restored; and when a premium story choice is offered or taken. Each carries only a short label such as which screen the offer appeared on or which product was viewed. We never send your name, email, story choices, save data or any personal detail — we hold none of it to send. Firebase also collects standard device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version, and an app instance identifier) as described in Google's own privacy policy.

Advertising and tracking

We only show opt-in rewarded ads — you choose to watch one in exchange for in-game rewards. No ads are shown without your action. No ads are shown during gameplay or story content. We never show forced or interstitial ads.

We request App Tracking Transparency permission on first launch. If you decline, ads shown will be non-personalised. This does not affect gameplay in any way.

Children

BARZ carries an 18+ age rating (mature themes, realistic violence, and language). It is intended for adults and is not directed at children or anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Data retention and deletion

We run no servers of our own and hold no database of users, so there is nothing on our side to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all local save data from your device. Subscription records are held by Apple and RevenueCat, and anonymous usage events by Google Firebase, each per their own retention policies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and erase personal data we hold. We hold no name, email or account for you, so for most requests there is nothing on our side to action. Where the anonymous usage events described above are treated as personal data, we will ask Google to delete the records associated with your app installation. Contact us at barz@5am9t1.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

You can stop usage analytics being collected at any time by deleting the app; there is no server-side profile left behind.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app.
